Who can join Project Society?
Project Society welcomes UTS students from every faculty and experience level. You do not need an existing project or a technical background to take part.
Do I need a project idea before joining?
No. Events and project sessions are designed to help you meet collaborators, explore problems worth solving and develop an idea at your own pace.
How much does membership cost?
The current ActivateUTS listing advertises membership for $1. Check the official membership page before publishing in case the fee changes.
Where are events held?
Most events are held on the UTS City Campus. Every event listing includes its confirmed room or online location.
Can an organisation share an opportunity?
Yes. Industry partners and community organisations can contact the committee through the society's LinkedIn or Instagram profile. The committee reviews every listing before publication.
How do member profiles work?
The directory is voluntary. A profile is only published after the member has supplied the information and confirmed their consent. Members can ask the committee to update or remove it at any time.
